Students bag Second Runner's Up Place in Regional Level Art Competition

Our students make us proud again. Tulasi Seelam of Grade 1 and Chetana Damisetti of grade 4 have secured the Second Runner's Up Place in Regional Level Art Competition organized by Globalart. Globalart Kreative Star '21is a national event and is India's largest online Creative Contest. Thousands of students from Karnataka had participated in the competition. Team Diya extends its heartiest congratulations to our little artists for bagging the Runner's Up Position.

We are delighted to share that our student Chetana Damisetti of Grade 4C has secured the Third Position in an Art Competition organized by Fundooda Books as a part of their November Kids Festival 2021. We are proud of our Little Artist and wish her All the very best for her future endeavours.

It gives us immense pleasure to share that our school received an Award from Bangalore Sahodaya Schools Complex Association for being an Active Learning Centre of Collaboration and Promoting team Spirit among CBSE schools. We have been an active member of The Hub of Learning and have been sharing the best practices and organized many inter- school Competitions. Our PE Teacher Mr. Manjeeth received the Activity Warrior Award for his outstanding contribution in promoting the physical fitness of the students during the pandemic.
We are delighted to inform you that our student, Sidharth Arun Kumar of grade 9A has now become a published author with Scholastic Quill Club Writers. His short story 'The Shadows of the Dark' was published in the book 'Down Comes the River' which is an anthology of 15 short stories by budding authors. The E- Book launch took place on 16th June,2021. Team Diya congratulates Sidharth and wishes him All the very best for all his future endeavours.

Kreative Star is India's largest creativity contest for children of grades 2-5. Thousands of students participated in it and the following students have brought laurels to the school

"Writing is a painting of the voice"
Our students from grade 3-10 had participated in an Inter- school Creative Writing Competition organized by DPS East in association with Ms Ilika Ranjan,the author of "Secrets of Zynpagua".The aim of the competition was to encourage our bright and curious minds to embark on their creative journey.Three students of Diya won prizes in the competition. Sriram Prakash of grade 5 won the second prize, Sana Ayesha of grade 8 won the third prize and Jisa Elsa Sam of grade 10 won the third prize.

Students win in Inter-school Competition:
Students from grade 3- 9 of Diya participated in an Inter-school Hindi competition in JSS Public School. Different competitions were organized for the students across the grades. It was "Show and Tell" for Grade 3, "Favourite Story Character Parade" in Grade 4," Collage making and presentation" for Grade 6, " kala and kavita" for grade 8 and "News Reading" for grade 9. Our students won the second prize in Collage making and Kala- Kavita competition. Team Diya heartily congratulates all the winners and the participants.

A team of five students of Diya Academy of Learning participated in Bengaluru Tech Summit 2019 and bagged the third prize in Robo Race challenge. A number of activities at the summit were specially organized for the students. One of the competitions was the Robo Race challenge in which the students had to prepare their own robots, program it and then race it to the destination. Our students ( Akash G of grade X, Rishiprakash of grade X, Atharv Dixit of gradeX, Piyush Mishra of grade IX and Meher Chaitanya of grade VII) did a great job and were declared third in the competition in which many schools had participated. Team Diya received the prize from our deputy CM Dr Aswath Narayanan. Our boys have proved that "If you can dream it, you can do it".
