'Yoga' the word symbolises 'to join' or 'to unite'. Yoga is the tool for practising compassion, mindfulness, generosity, focus, strength and flexibility. It is the need of the hour and to inculcate that Diya Academy of Learning has always ensured that the best holistic approach to learning is through overall development of a child. Students celebrated International Yoga Day with immense enthusiasm. The excitement of students was palpable as they were all geared up to celebrate the first ever offline yoga post the pandemic. The students along with the Yoga teacher demonstrated Surya Namaskara and other Asanas followed by Om chanting. Yoga teacher also enlightened the young minds with the magical benefits of different asanas. Regular practice of Yoga helps in improving concentration and in relieving stress and anxiety. The physical, mental and spiritual benefits of practising yoga were stressed upon. The celebration ended with a vote of thanks and a rendition of the National Anthem by the students.
